Nokia Officially Announced The New Nokia 7

A few months ago, the finish company Nokia introduced its first Android smartphone in China,Nokia 6, so they could carry out the same tactic with the Nokia 7 that could well be their last phone presented this year, except for the plans of the company with the Nokia 2.

However, apart from all these things now if we talk about the looks of the new Nokia 7, then I must say that it has a premium look, though it comes with bezels, but still, it comes with IP54 certification, which means that this new Nokia 7 will be splashproof essentially.

While now if we talk about the specs then this new Nokia 7 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC which is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, has support for the microSD cards along with the 64GB of internal storage. Not only that, as it has 5.2″ 1080p IPS LCD screen with the Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 16 MP rear with the f/1.8 aperture along with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5 MP front camera with the f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity-wise the new Nokia 7 features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, NFC, and LTE Cat.6. The new Nokia 7 also has a fingerprint sensor which mounted on the back side of the device. Moreover, it runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat (Oreo update guaranteed) and has a 3,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.

Now if we talk about the price of this new Nokia 7, then it will come in two variant and two colors (Gloss Black and Matt White). Soon, it will be available in China on October 24 where the 4GB RAM variant will cost CNY 2,499 ($377), and CNY 2,699 ($407) for the 6GB RAM variant. However, currently, we don’t have any information about when (or if) the Nokia 7 will be sold in other countries or not.

Russian hacker stole NSA Data withKaspersky Antivirus

Recently, it is found that the Russian Hacker have used Kaspersky antivirus to steal data from United States National Security Agency (NSA). According to the reports from WSJ, the entire events took place in 2015 and it was discovered in 2016.

 
NSA is indeed one of the world's most powerful government agencies. However, that doesnot mean that they are secure from security threats and hacking attempts. The  report claimed that the russian hacker exploided kaspersky antivirus programme developed by kaspersky lab and install in the personal computer of one of the unnamed NSA contractor and the hacker stole the secret files.
But it is still unclear that how Kaspersky was exploited to execute the hack,there is still confused that whether the software package was already programmed by the company to spy on NSA or Hackers have targetedit at a later stage.

World’s Biggest Hard Drive Which Can Store 14 TB

When we talk about H D movies and Hard disk, pendrive and some other kind of storage devices then there arises the concern about the storage capacity to store files. So different companies are still working to offer greater capacity in the HDD, and that ends today with the new model of 14 TB of Western Digital.

Western Digital launches the first 14 TB hard drive

Following its official announcement along with the launch of the 12 TB drive last December, Western Digital today announced the launch of the 14 TB drive called HGST Ultrastar Hs14.

This hard drive uses HelioSeal technology, which replaces the air inside the hard disk with helium, which is 7 times less dense than air. The lower density gives you more reliability and speed. When sealed, they have also protected from environmental wear and the introduction of carbon that damages hard drives.

To increase capacity, Western Digital makes use of second-generation SMR (Shingled Magnetic Recording) technology. With this, you can achieve a greater energy efficiency, key in the servers where these type of units are deployed. At rest, it has a consumption of 5.2 watts and 6.4 watts in use. This results in a 60% reduction in the wattage per GB ratio compared to an 8TB air unit.

Next year will come the hard disks of 16 and 18 TB

The hard disk is offered in SATA (6 Gbps) and SAS (12 Gbps) format. It has a buffer of 512 MB, and a maximum transfer speed of 233 MB/s. The warranty is for 5 years. The company has not disclosed the price tag. The 10 TB version is worth about $705, so this could easily climb to $820.

The industry is having a hard time reaching storage capacities greater than 10, 12 and 14 TB. The limit with the current technology with helium is around 16 TB. However, Seagate says that in 2018 they will be launching an 18-TB hard drive. At the moment, the maximum capacity of the market is found in the 14 TB with the unit that has been launched today by the Western Digital.
